The Social Sciences Department of the Ministry of Education has announced the results for the 2024 General Projects in Humanities and Social Sciences Research. A total of 3,378 projects from institutions across the country were selected. China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) submitted a total of 90 applications, including 41 in Law, 8 in Inter-disciplinary/Comprehensive Research, 7 in Management, 7 in Economics, 6 in History, 5 in Sociology, 4 in Journalism and communication, 3 in Marxism/Ideological and Political Education, 2 in Linguistics, and 7 in other fields. Of these, 14 projects were approved: 6 in Law, 2 in Interdisciplinary/Comprehensive Research, 2 in Economics, 1 in History, 1 in Sports Science, 1 in Journalism and Communication, and 1 in Linguistics. This year’s performance represents CUPL’s best achievement in the Ministry of Education’s General Projects for Humanities and Social Sciences Research in the past five years, reflecting the university’s strong research capabilities and commitment to advancing academic inquiry in these fields.
