On November 19, Feng Shiyong, Vice President of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), led a delegation to Beijing Changping Qianfeng School, Beijing Haidian Zhong Guan Cun No. 4 Primary School, and Beijing No.19 High School to donate COVID-19 prevention materials. CUPL donated 50,000 masks to each of the three affiliated schools to help them enhance their capacity for epidemic prevention and control.
At the donation ceremony in Beijing Changping Qianfeng School, Feng Shiyong said that since Changping District was facing rising epidemic risk, schools must shoulder the significant responsibility to battle COVID-19. CUPL attached great importance to the safety of its own students and faculty, as well as to its affiliated schools. He hoped the material supplies could strengthen epidemic prevention and control capacities for the school. Since Qianfeng School established affiliation relations with CUPL in March 2015, both sides had maintained close contact in many aspects, such as education system building, training of faculty, and sports exchanges. He hoped that CUPL and Qianfeng School would continue to deepen practical cooperation and jointly make more contributions to student cultivation.
Li Yan, Principal of Qianfeng School, expressed his sincere gratitude for CUPL's care on behalf of all the teachers and students of the school. He said that the masks helped protect their health and safety, and the care and support from CUPL warmed their hearts. He hoped that both sides could carry out cooperation and exchanges in more areas, and work together to make Qianfeng School better.
At the donation ceremony in Zhong Guan Cun No. 4 Primary School, Feng stated that since the school became the affiliated school to CUPL in December 2020, CUPL had supported its development. He hoped that the prevention materials will help the school prevent COVID-19 and create a safe environment for students. He also hoped that both sides would continue to work together and actively implement the agreements to help Zhong Guan Cun No. 4 Primary School make new progress.
Vice Principal Wang Bin expressed his gratitude for CUPL's care. He stated that Zhong Guan Cun No. 4 Primary School hoped to work hand in hand with CUPL for epidemic prevention and control and for creating a better environment for education and cultivation of talents.
At the donation ceremony of epidemic prevention materials to Beijing No.19 High School, Feng Shiyong stated that CUPL paid close attention to the health of teachers and students in the school, and donated the material supplies to support the COVID-19 prevention and control of Beijing No.19 High School. He was delighted to see that, under the leadership of Principal Gao Xinqiao, the school had strictly implemented epidemic prevention measures, and secured achievements in education and many other areas since both sides started cooperation. He hoped that CUPL and Beijing No.19 High School could continue to expand practical cooperation and work together to achieve the goal of “cultivating talents for the Party and the State.”
On behalf of all the members of the school, Principal Gao expressed his gratitude to CUPL for its donation. Since Beijing No.19 High School became “Experimental High School Affiliated to CUPL” in January 2021, CUPL has done a lot to help the high school with its development, epidemic prevention and control, teachers’ development as well as with student clubs.
