From November 16 to 18, the additional doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered in the Teaching Building at the Haidian Campus, CUPL.
To ensure order and efficiency, relevant administrative offices collaborate and coordinate with schools. Students and faculty were administered with booster shots at the scheduled time slots. At the vaccination site, CUPL set up a temperature-taking area, an inquiry area, a registration area, a vaccination area, an observation area, and an emergency area, with clear directional signs. Vaccine recipients all wore masks and kept distance when queuing up for consultation, registration, and vaccination. In the observation area, two CUPL mascot dolls “Tuo Tuo” were smiling at all vaccine recipients.
With the efforts and coordination of faculty, staff and students, the administration was carried out smoothly. A total of 3,276 people received additional doses, thus strengthening the epidemic prevention level of the campus.
The administration of the booster shot for Changping Campus is scheduled for November 22 to 26 in the Qiyun Stadium. The estimated number of doses per day is 1,500 to 1,600. On 22, 23 and 24 of November, only the Sinovac-CoronaVac COVID-19 vaccine will be administered.
