Recently, the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality jointly issued the Notice on Co-Sponsoring China University of Political Science and Law . With the issuance of the notice, CUPL now becomes a university co-sponsored by a municipal government and the MOE, marking a big breakthrough for the university. According to the Notice, via the mechanism of co-sponsorship and joint consultation, the MOE and the Beijing Municipal Government will keep regular communication, put forward opinions, proposals and specific measures for co-sponsoring CUPL and effectively strengthen leadership and support for CUPL in discipline construction, talent cultivation, scientific research, campus construction, etc.
