On December 14, the 2019-2020 “CUPL Role Models” Award Ceremony was held in the auditorium at the Changping Campus of CUPL. Prof. Ma Huade, President of CUPL, Prof. Li Xiuyun, Vice President of CUPL, Luo Ming, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Changping District Committee of Beijing and officer in charge of political education at the Changping District Armed Force Office, Shi Baocang, head of Changping District Armed Force Office, Gao Jinbo, CUPL alumnus of 1981, Head of Hanlong Law Firm and Executive Vice President of the Legal Documents Society of China Law Society, Zhang Jian, Deputy General Manager of Beijing Fund Town Holding Co. LTD and Director of Public Welfare Foundation of Beijing Fund Town, Liu Qian, Secretary General of Public Welfare Foundation of Beijing Fund Town attended the ceremony. Heads of relevant schools and administrative offices of CUPL as well as representatives of tutors and more than a thousand students attended the event.
Under the theme of “Role Models, the Power to Move Forward”, this year’s award ceremony encourages CUPLers to benchmark our performance against role models and to learn from them. At the award ceremony, President Ma Huaide shared stories of the outstanding alumni with the students and talked about the four qualities that a role model of CUPL should have. Vice President Li Xiuyun then announced the list of CUPL role models.
