On November 13 (local time), colleagues of the Confucius Institute at the University of Bucharest (CI at UB) were invited to attend the Fourth Annual Asian Festival in Romania and presented a fantastic and brilliant cultural performance for the local people. The Festival attracted hundreds of locals and people from cultural institutions. All attendees spoke highly of traditional Chinese culture.
At this Festival, the CI at UB not only staged a magnificent audio and visual banquet for the locals, but also introduced time-honored Chinese culture to the locals. The China exhibition at this Festival had various performances and activities including singing, dancing and so on, and had attracted attention from local media. It is believed that this Festival will help the locals know more about Chinese culture and its development. The CI at UB will make more efforts to bring additional cultural activities for the local people.
