From April 28 to 30, 2014, the 13th National BUSIMU Contest was grandly held in Wuhan University of Science and Technology. A CUPL team dubbed “Big Win”,composed of three students, Peng Liyi, Pang Xin and Huang Yingjie, participated in the contest. After undergoing an intense competition over the course of three days and nights, our varsity team eventually claimed first prize in the national BUSIMU Contest as well as third prize in the national BIZSIM Contest.
Those student-contestants were selected and organized by our Business School, with Zhu Xiaowu,an associate professor of that School, acting as the advisor for the team.
As one of the undisputed authoritative contests concerning simulated business competition across China, BUSIMU Contest is sponsored by China National MBAE education Supervisory Committee, and collectively organized by Guanghua School of Management at Peking University, the Economic & Management Experimental Teaching Center at that University and the Decision making Simulation Committee of Chinese Society for Management Modernization. This contest has been successfully held 13 times. According to the sponsor’s announcement, over 2000 teams from 34 provinces and regions attended the 2014 BUSIMU Contest.
