On the evening of November 29, 2012, at Kempinski Hotel, at the invitation of His Excellence Omar Al Bitar, Ambassador of United Arab Emirates (UAE) to China, President Huang Jin attended the National Day reception celebrating the 41st anniversary of UAE's founding. On behalf of CUPL, President Huang expressed his hearty congratulations for various achievements the UAE has achieved since its founding, and wished the UAE an even brighter future. Ambassador Omar Al Bitar expressed his gratitude for President Huang’s attendance, and showed his willingness to make efforts toward promoting cultural exchange and cooperation between China and UAE, as well as between China and other Gulf countries.
In 2010, Ambassador Omar Al Bitar was invited by our university to give a lecture on UAE’s legal environment for investment. President Huang met with him and attended that lecture. President Huang invited him to visit CUPL again and brief CUPL faculty members and students on the situation surrounding UAE’s political, economic, and cultural system. Ambassador Omar Al Bitar was delighted to accept the invitation.
