Three CUPL Students Win the 2012 Baker & McKenzie Scholarship

Three students recommended by CUPL emerged as winners in the written test and the audition organized by Baker & McKenzie International Law Firm. The winners from CUPL are Chen Ranran (2011 postgraduate in the Civil, Commercial and Economic Law School), Sun Kaiwen (2010, undergraduate in the Civil, Commercial and Economic Law School), and Liu Chang (2011 postgraduate in the School of International Law). Each was awarded15,000 RMB

The scholarship was established by the Baker & McKenzie International Law Firm. Each year eight scholarships are awarded to students from Peking University Law School, Tsinghua University Law School, China University of Political Science and Law, Renmin University Law School, as well as the University of International Business and Economics Law School. This is the first time the scholarship has considered students from CUPL. The number of winners from CUPL ranked first among the five universities participating.
