On April 30, 2012, CUPL’s varsity male soccer team delivered a gift to the home university by winning the championship in the 2012 Minor League of Beijing Colleges and Universities. The Minor League division is the highest-level university league for amateur status student athletes. In prior years (2006 and 2009), the team finished as runner-up. This year marks the team’s first championship.
