"I am a passionate German teacher who loves to travel around the world while I teach. I am from the north of Germany, but born in East Germany before 1989, which gave me the chance to take part in one important historical chance in Germany.
After I finished my master I started teaching German as foreign language in France and Estonia before I came to China to Tianjin. Why? Just because I wanted to and I was curious to discover daily life in China. Since now I taught German as foreign language in national and international schools preparing students for their university entrance diploma, I worked for the Goethe Institute in Tianjin and I taught students of German philology preparing them for their Bachelor.
My past year in China was mostly out of China because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Still I had the chance of discovering this big country with its interesting language and culture. I got more and more curious to see more of it. That's why I would love to come back to China.
I had no real chance yet to get to know school teachers and students except my own little group which is just great!!! Nevertheless I am looking forward to meeting them all one day in Beijing."
