On October 15, Professor Stephen Macedo, a distinguished member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, former Vice President of the American Political Science Association, former President of the American Society for Political and Legal Philosophy, and the Laurance S. Rockefeller Professor of Politics at Princeton University, visited China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL). He was welcomed at CUPL’s Haidian campus by Li Juqian, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange.
Following the meeting, Professor Macedo delivered an engaging lecture titled "The Central Issues in the U.S. Presidential Election: Populism and Elitism Reconsidered." The lecture was organized by the School of Political Science and Public Administration at CUPL and was chaired by Prof. Ren Hongsheng, Deputy Dean of the school.
