As part of the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and in honor of the upcoming 40th Teachers' Day, the “Nurturing Students for the Party and the Nation—6th Beijing Teachers' Storytelling and Exchange Event” took place in Beijing on September 7. The event was organized by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and hosted by the Beijing Institute of School Moral Education.

As one of the key activities marking the 40th Teachers' Day in Beijing in 2024, the event attracted nearly 10,000 enthusiastic participants, including teachers from across all levels of education. Since its launch in May, over 530 recommended cases were submitted. After expert evaluation, Prof. Yuan Fang from the School of Marxism at our university won the special prize for her case study titled “Cultivating Students with Care through Ideological Education.” This is the first time our university has received this award. Additionally, Prof. Li Juan from the School of Civil and Commercial Law was awarded second prize for her case study, "Building Education on a Foundation of Care, Guided by Wisdom, and Strengthened by Skills."
