In the evening of April 25, the 7th "RONG Jufada" cultural gala of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) was held in the auditorium of the Changping Campus. The theme of this year is “Rong Jufada: The Spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress in Practice”. Prof. Li Xiuyun, Vice President of CUPL attended and unveiled the 2023 cultural gala, along with heads of schools and administrative offices. Wang Keke, member of the Executive Committee and Senior Partner of Beijing Weiheng Law Firm, Senior Partners of Weiheng Law Firm Jia Guochang, Liu Shuang and Li Haifeng as well as over 1,400 tutors and students attended the event.

In her speech, Vice President Li Xiuyun expressed her appreciation to all participants of CUPL media groups for their hard work. She noted that over the past year, under the strong leadership of the School Council, all participants have made great efforts to report on the 70th Anniversary Celebration of CUPL. CUPLers and alumni actively, via coordinated media platforms such as newspapers, the internet, radio, television, Weibo, WeChat, Douyin (Chinese version of Tiktok) and other on-campus and off-campus communication groups, successfully covered the anniversary celebration of CUPL and other major events.
Vice President Li Xiuyun called for further integration of campus media groups to achieve the transformation from publicity-oriented and organizational-based work approach to news-oriented and communication-based work approach. She emphasized the significance of campus media groups as a bridge among the campus, faculty and student, and the broader society. Vice President Li also encouraged all CUPL media participants to continue promoting CUPL’s ideas and cultures.

Nine awards were presented at the event, i.e., "Top Ten Best Campus Cultural Brands", "Outstanding Information Group", " Excellent Campus News Organization", etc. Winners of the 24th "Weiheng Lawyer Cup" Campus Radio Singer Competition were also awarded. The 7th "RONG Jufada" cultural gala and the 24th Campus Singing Competition came to a successful conclusion.

CUPL initiated the first "RONG Jufada" cultural gala in November 2016 and this year marks its seventh episode. As a flagship event, "RONG Jufada" has become a platform for CUPL to present outstanding cultural brands and promote cultural education. Based on the theme "Inclusiveness, Integration, and Glory”, the event has nurtured a series of cultural brands with university-wide resources to build up CUPL campus culture, as well as integrated communication channels and media platforms to present the story of CUPL. Since its inception, “Rong Jufada” has been warmly received by CUPLers, and has inspired outstanding campus cultural activities, fostered various media platforms, facilitated integrated media development, and nurtured campus culture. It is believed that in the future this event will play a bigger role in presenting the story of CUPL, expressing the voice of CUPL, and promoting the culture of CUPL.
