The Unveiling Ceremony of SPP-CUPL Research Base for Digital Procuratorial Service Held Successfully

On February 27, the unveiling ceremony of the Research Base for Digital Procuratorial Service, co-established by China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) and the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) of the People’s Republic of China, was held in the Haidian Campus. Deputy Procurator General Zhang Xueqiao and other officials from SPP visited CUPL. Hu Ming, Council Chair of CUPL, and Shi Jianzhong, Vice President of CUPL, attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Vice President Shi Jianzhong.

Zhang noted that the establishment of the SPP-CUPL Research Base for Digital Procuratorial Service is a vivid practice of implementing Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law. He hoped that CUPL will become a main force for the progresses and achievements on the Chinese path to modernization and that the research base will blaze new trails and build itself into a splendid landmark and signature institute.

Hu welcomed Zhang and his colleagues to CUPL to witness the launch event of the SPP-CUPL Research Base for Digital Procuratorial Service. The establishment of the research base by the two sides marks a new chapter for the cooperation between procuratorial service and universities. The launch of the research base will promote the research on comprehensive law-based governance, incentivize the development of digital law as a new discipline, and boost legal studies in a broader sense.
