Recently, the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council issued The Circulation on the List of Doctoral and Master's Degree Authorization Stations Added in 2020 (Degree (2021) No. 14). China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) was approved to offer Master's degrees in auditing, Chinese international education, applied psychology and some other disciplines.
Guided by the principles of President Xi’s speech to CUPL, the university unswervingly upholds the socialist orientation and follows the path of high-quality development. CUPL has optimized its discipline structure around the central task of developing Philosophy and Social Sciences with Chinese characteristics and made steady progress in building CUPL's degree authorization stations. Besides, CUPL has worked continuously to develop first-class disciplines and achieved remarkable results.
The newly added Master's Degree Authorization Stations demonstrate that we have achieved staged success in building CUPL into a multidisciplinary university with law as its leading discipline. CUPL will take this opportunity to vigorously develop other disciplines, add new dimensions to the “law plus” discipline structure, improve its comprehensive strength, and build CUPL into a world-class university with Chinese characteristics.
