Seminar on Harmonizing Administrative Normative Documents Successfully Held in Beijing

On June 27, the Seminar on Harmonizing Administrative Normative Documents, sponsored by the China Administrative Law Society (CALS) and organized by the School of Law-based Government (SLBG), China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) was successfully held in the Guoerzhao Hotel Beijing. More than 60 experts and scholars from the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate and other government agencies and research institutes attended the seminar.

The opening session was moderated by Prof. Wang Jingbo, Vice President of the University of International Business and Economics and Secretary General of CALS. Ma Huaide, President of CUPL and President of CALS, delivered speeches along with Fang Jun, First-grade Inspector of the Bureau of Coordination and Supervision of Administrative Law Enforcement of the Ministry of Justice. The first session of the conference was on the institutionalization of administrative normative documents. The second session was a seminar on harmonizing administrative normative documents. The closing session was moderated by Prof. Wang Zhouhu, Director of Shaanxi Collaborative Innovation Center for the Rule of Law in Northwest University of Political Science and Law and Vice President of CALS. CUPL Professor Emeritus Ying Songnian, Honorary President of CALS and Fang Jun, First-grade Inspector of the Bureau of Coordination and Supervision of Administrative Law Enforcement of the Ministry of Justice, made concluding remarks.
