On April 16, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology released the announcement of the 2021 project supplier (the second batch) public comparison and selection results. The “Research Project on Beijing Municipal Data Legislation” led by Prof. Li Aijun from the Internet Financial Law Research Institute of CUPL won the selection. This is the second time that the team led by Prof. Li undertook the work of local data legislation project, since the drafting of the Regulations of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone on Data. The “Research Project on Beijing Municipal Data Legislation” aims at carrying out surveys, interviews, status quo analysis and drafting of the local data legislation for Beijing Municipality, and providing follow-up support to the entire legislation process.
