On April 1, CUPL and Legal Daily signed a strategic cooperation agreement on rule of law education and jointly launched the first Alliance on High-End International Legal Talent Cultivation in China. CUPL President Ma Huaide, Vice President Chang Baoguo, Shao Bingfang, Council Chair and President of Legal Daily, CUPL, and Zhang Guoqing, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, attended the ceremony. Vice President Feng Shiyong moderated the ceremony.
The Alliance, the first of its kind in China, is an innovative and effective measure to strengthen rule of law education in the new era, which is of great practical significance to the cultivation of international legal professionals and to the facilitation of opening up. CUPL vows to efficiently mobilize necessary resources, strengthen strategic management and coordination, and focus on the cultivation of international legal talents. Aiming at meeting China's needs of opening up and going global, CUPL and Legal Daily will develop the alliance into a coordinated and comprehensive platform that is dedicated to the cultivation of international legal talents with multi-faceted and practical abilities. Meanwhile, the two sides will continue to explore and improve talent cultivation programs, and strive to contribute to the development of China's rule of law.
