On March 2, the 8th Awarding Ceremony for Outstanding Achievements in Scientific Research (Humanities and Social Sciences) of Colleges and Universities was held in Beijing. President Ma Huaide of CUPL attended the ceremony as an outstanding winner of the award and was awarded by Chen Baosheng, Minister of Education. In the parallel session at CUPL, Prof. Hu Ming, Council Chair of CUPL, awarded the winners in CUPL and relevant schools and institutions.
In total, 18 achievements of CUPL were awarded, including fourteen monographs and articles, two consultation reports, and two youth achievements. The number of awards won by CUPL hit a new high, with a growth of 157% over last year. In addition, CUPL achieved a breakthrough of winning another grand prize since 2006.
