On December 4, the National Constitution Day, the first session of the Lecture Series “High-end Think Tank on NPC’s Legislation” - Development of the NPC System since Reform and Opening-up, was jointly organized by the Institute for Human Rights of CUPL, the Graduate School and the Research Office of CUPL. The lecture was held in the Academic Lecture Hall on the second floor of the Comprehensive Research Building at the Haidian Campus of CUPL. The speaker was Chen Sixi, Member of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People’s Congress and Deputy Chairman of the Social Construction Committee of the 13th National People’s Congress. The lecture was moderated by Prof. Li Shuguang, Dean of the Graduate School of CUPL. Prof. Jiao Hongchang, Dean of the Law School made comments. Prof. Xia Yinlan of the Institute for Human Rights, Prof. Zhang Wei, Deputy Director of the Institute for Human Rights, as well as teachers and students of other schools and institutes of CUPL attended the lecture.
