On November 4, China Law Society announced the winners and the nominees of the 9th “Top Ten National Outstanding Young Jurists”. Prof. Li Zheng of CUPL was awarded the title “Top Ten National Outstanding Young Jurists”. Prof. Li Jianwei and Prof. Huo Zhengxin won the nomination prizes.
The selection and commendation of the "Top Ten National Outstanding Young Jurists " aim to set the stage for the outstanding talents to stand out and grow healthily, to encourage the vast jurists and legal practitioners to adhere to the correct political direction, be determined to innovation, and serve as practitioners following the path of law-based governance under Chinese socialism, the builders of the socialist country under the rule of law, the developers of the socialist rule of law theory with Chinese characteristics, and the cultivators of socialist legal talents that excel in both morality and capacity.
