At 10 a.m. on October 1, 2019, the grand celebration gathering of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China including military parade and mass parade were held at the Tian’anmen Square in Beijing, capital of China. 1,063 CUPL teachers and students participated in the "Solidly Building the Chinese Dream Together" mass parade. Among them, 73 teachers and students joined the 1,000 members chorus to perform in the evening square party.
At 11:32, the 70th anniversary of the National Day mass parade officially began, in which the 22nd flag array "Democracy and the Rule of Law" that CUPL teachers and students were in was a bright scenery. On the floats in the center of the square procession were the giant ornaments of the representative five-star dome of the Great Hall of the People and the solemn and sacred Constitution of the People's Republic of China. Surrounded by the floats and dressed in bright clothes, CUPL students walked past the Tian’anmen Square with national flags and bouquets in their hands and bright smiles on their faces. They presented their warm and sincere wishes to the mother country.
At 8 p.m., 73 CUPL teachers and students, after 46 days of training, seven joint practices and two rehearsals, offered their good wishes to the motherland by performing a total of 16 songs. The performance has four themes, i.e., Diligent Chinese People, Beautiful Ecological Environment, Bright New Era and Together Shared Happiness, and three chapters, namely “We Are Marching on the Great Road”, “In the Field of Hope” and “Leading the New Era”.
