CUPL Delegation Visits Five Prestigious Korean universities

From March 4th to 8th , 2019, CUPL delegation was invited to visit five famous Korean universities, including Ewha Womans University, Seoul National University, Ajou University, Korea University and JeJu National University. The visit aims at deepening the cooperation between CUPL and the top universities in Korea, enhancing the international influence and competitiveness of CUPL, as well as comprehensively advancing the university's “Double First Class University Plan” and the internationalization strategy.

The CUPL delegation met respectively with Prof. Oh, Chong Kun, Dean of Ewha Womans University School of Law, Prof. Kwon, Youngjoon, Associate Dean of Seoul National University School of Law, Prof. Lee, Sang Won, Professor of Seoul National University School of Law and President of Korea Criminal Law Society, Prof. Lim Jake, Vice President of Ajou University, Prof. Kim, Jah Eun, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation, Prof. Myoung, Soonkoo, Dean of Korea University School of Law, Prof. Oh, Sung Keun, Dean of Jeju National University School of Law, and Kang, Prof. Chul Seung, Executive Director of the Center for the International Affairs, and other representatives from law schools, international exchange and cooperation departments, and postgraduate management departments of the aforementioned five universities. The delegation had conducted in-depth exchanges with the Korean counterparts on deepening inter-university cooperation, expanding exchanges between teachers and students, joint academic activities, and postgraduate education.

The visit has deepened the cooperation between CUPL and the top universities in South Korea. The two sides had reached a consensus on exploring new cooperation models in the future. The delegation also signed cooperation agreements with Ewha Womans University and Ajou University.
