On May 18th of 2016, the third meeting of the Warsaw-Beijing Forum (WBF) was held at the University of Warsaw (UW). Some 100 people attended the opening ceremony, including Mr. Novak, Vice-president ofthe University of Warsaw, Gao Huanyue, Vice-Chair of the CUPL Council, He Juan, educational officer at the Chinese Embassy in Poland, as well as the representative of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the former Poland’s Ambassador to China and students from CUPL and UW. In the opening ceremony, the UW Chorus sang a song for the participants.

WBF is a platform jointly created by CUPL and UW for students to interact with each other. The original purpose of the Forum was to enable a better exchange of ideas between the two peoples. Other purposes included providing a platform for advancing knowledge in economics, culture and law, and facilitating discussion and cooperation between Chinese and Polish students. This Forum, having been held in both Beijing and Warsaw in the previous two years, has become an important platform of international exchange for students from China and Poland.

In the opening remarks, Gao Huanyue said that face-to-face communications could help students better understand each other and could make the relationship closer. As a result, those students may become facilitators of friendship between the two countries in the future.

This year's Forum was held under the theme "The Eurasian Dream". During the one-week forum, attendees engaged in academic exchanges with experts in law, economics, finance and so on and visited dairy companies in Poland. On May 19th, Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland, met with student representatives.
