On the afternoon of November 3, 2014, CUPL Vice President Mr. Feng Shiyong held an amicable talk with Prof. Lars Engwall, member of the Committee for Nobel Prize in Economics, member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (former Second Vice President), member of the Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences, and his wife, Prof. Gunnel Engwall, previous Vice-Chancellor of Stockholm University and their party.
After the talk, Prof. Lars Engwall delivered an excellent speech for our faculty members and students. The topic of the speech was “Business Administration in the West”, which centered on the three governing forces of legislation, market and supervision. Prof. Lu Chunlong, Vice Dean of our School of Political Sciences & Public Administration, hosted the lecture. At the same time, Prof. Gunnel Engwall gave another lecture concerning “August Strindberg”—the best-known Swedish writer, and introduced his life and works to our audience. The speech was sponsored by CUPL School of Foreign Languages and hosted by Associate Professor Ms. Liu Yangyang.
