The Chinese Journal of Global Governance (CJGG), an English journal launched by the School of International Law (CUPL), has recently officially begun publishing. Based at the Collaborative Innovation Center for Global Governance & the Rule of Law on our campus, the journal integrates and utilizes multiple global superior resources in those two research areas, and aims to become an excellent academic journal with influence around the world, thereby contributing to China’s involvement in global governance and advancing the rule of law in the international community.
The editorial board of the journal consists of CUPL President Prof. Huang Jin, and other prestigious domestic and foreign scholars from the world’s top universities and notable research institutes, like the German Development Institute, University of Hamburg,Leiden University,Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies, University of Vienna, National University of Singapore, Autonomous University of Madrid, Renmin University of China, etc. The journal, to be published by Nihoff Brill, a top academic publisher specializing in international law, aims to be an internationally renowned quarterly in the field within two years. All submissions to CJGG will be subject to double-blind peer review, and a professional team from Nihoff Brill will provide overall assistance concerning the review of articles, their acceptance, and their editing and subsequent publishing, so as to ensure the journal’s high quality and academic vitality.
The inauguration of CJGG will not only greatly expand the global impact of CUPL’s international law studies and its related internationalization, but will also be a firm step taken by our university to become an inclusive, internationalized, innovation-oriented top-notch law teaching and research entity.
