Recently,China Scholarship Council (CSC) released its annual admission list concerning the “Government Sponsored Postgraduate Study-AbroadProgram for the Construction of High-level Chinese Universities” and the “Government Sponsored Study-Abroad Program forMaster Degrees”. The number of students admitted to CUPL reached a new peak,with CSC sponsoring 79 post-graduates to support their overseas studies. Among them, the Government Sponsored Postgraduate Study-Abroad Program for theConstruction of High-level Chinese Universities admitted 65 of them, another 38 are joint-cultivated doctoral degree candidates (including twojoint-cultivated doctoral degree candidates under the scholarship exchangeprogram between CUPL and respective European countries), 27 aredoctoral degree candidates(including one student sponsored by the Japanese MEXT Scholarship), andthe Government SponsoredStudy-Abroad Program for Master Degrees admitted 14 (six of them as joint-cultivated master degreecandidates, with the remaining eight being recent graduates admittedas master degree candidates).
