The award ceremony for CCTV's 2012 Legal Persons of the Year successfully concluded on December 4, 2012. CUPL alumni Chen Weidong, an expert in criminal procedure, and Tong Lihua, a public welfare lawyer, were given awards.
The annual award ceremony for Legal Persons of the Year was organized by CCTV and sponsored by the Office of National Law Popularization, the Ministry of Justice and CCTV. As it has been since 2001, the theme of the evening was “The Strength of the Rule of Law."
