From October 20 to 21, 2012, the first representative assembly and annual meeting of the China Administrative Law Research Association (CALRA) were held at the East China University of Political Science and Law. During the meeting, the Regulation of CALRA was voted through, and Prof. Ma Huaide, Vice President of CUPL, was elected President of the renowned Research Association. The list of council members and standing directors was also decided by the meeting.
More than 300 experts and scholars from the China Law Society, the Supreme People's Court, Peking University, China University of Political Science and Law, as well as other institutions attended the distinguished gathering.
