On October 10, 2012, the 18th IASL Congress was held in Beijing. It is sponsored by the International Association of Sports Law (IASL), and is jointly organized by the Institute of Sports Law under China Law Society and Sports Law Research Center of CUPL. The theme of this IASL Congress was "Sports Law: Structures, Practice, Justice, Sports Science and Studies." Over one hundred sports law experts and scholars from Greece, the United States, Germany and China attended the meeting.
