The 10th International Academic Symposium of the East Asian Administrative Law Association was held in Seoul, Republic of Korea from June 9 to 10, 2012. There were more than 200 administrative law scholars from Japan, Republic of Korea, mainland China and Taiwan Region in attendance at the conference. Representing CUPL, CUPL Vice President Ma Huaide, Lifelong Professor Ying Songnian, and Professor Wang Jingbo from the Institute of Government by Law attended the meeting.
The East Asian Administrative Law Association was founded in 1995. It holds an international academic symposium every two years. The 11th International Academic Symposium of the East Asian Administrative Law Association will be held in China in 2014.
