CUPL Associate Professor of School of International Law Huo Zhengzin was invited to participate in the 2012 Annual Conference of International Society of Comparative Law. The International Society of Comparative Law was founded in the Hague, Holland, in 1924. The theme for this year's Conference is "codification", focusing on various law applications and experiences in East Asia.
During this conference, Huo was appointed as the general speaker for the Special Symposium concerning private international law, and also delivered a speech in English titled "Commentary on Private International Law in East Asia–From the Perspective of Chinese Law".
This annual conference was hosted by Law School of the National Taiwan University. More than 200 experts and scholars from around the world attended this meeting. Mr. Ma Ying-jeou, the leader of Taiwan Region, attended the conference and met with attendees.
