2012 CUPL Students Score Top Marks in the International Criminal Court Trial Competition

On April 1, the 2012, the International Criminal Court Trial Competition—co-sponsored by the CUPL and the International Criminal Court at The Hague—was convened. Delegates from 14 universities participated in drafting legal documents; delegates from 13 universities participated in the oral competition. After two days and 13 rounds of competition, CUPL’s students were awarded “Best Legal Document Drafting Award” for the defendants’ side, and were also awarded the “Best Legal Document Drafting Award” for the criminal victims. CUPL student Ge Guanqun, an International Public Law L.L.M. candidate, won the “Best Orator-Prosecutor” award for his performance.
