March 9, 2012 marked the third day of CUPL’s annual blood donation drive. As the last group of volunteers walked out of the School Health Clinic, the work of the 2012 blood donation drive successfully concluded.
In 2012, a total of 1,000 CUPL students and faculty volunteered to donate blood, contributing a total of 670 bottles of blood—more than a 10 percent increase over last year. CUPL designated March 2012 as “The Month of Learning from Lei Feng” [Lei Feng is a prominent soldier and model Chinese citizen]. By contributing blood, the 1,000 volunteers demonstrated Lei Feng’s dedication to service.
