The Eurasia-Pacific Uninet (EPU), headquartered in Salzburg, Austria, was founded in 2000. It is an academic exchange institution funded by the Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy as well as the education authorities in Austria. It is the largest sovereign university network of its kind within Europe. CUPL became a member institution of it in August 2011, and has since sent students to participate in the European summer program sponsored by EPU every year.
