On December 3, 2023, the 6th SFLEP Cup National College Students' Intercultural Competence Contest, guided by the China Education International Exchange Association, sponsored by Shanghai International Studies University, and organized by Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press, took place at Hunan Normal University. As one of the most significant nationwide events in the field of foreign language disciplines, with the largest scale, the highest number of participating teachers and students, and the broadest coverage of schools, a total of 52 Chinese teams and 20 international teams came out from 741 universities in 23 provinces and municipalities across the country and advanced to the national finals. The team from China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), composed of Sai Hein Lat (a Myanmar undergraduate student of grade 2021), Harada Chika (a Japanese undergraduate student of grade 2022), and Ungwanitchakornkul Kanokwan (a Thai undergraduate student of grade 2022) ultimately won the National Second Prize in the international student group through multiple intense rounds of competition.
