NSSF projects set the national standard for Philosophy and Social Sciences research. To some extent, the number of NSSF annual projects reflects Chinese universities’ research strength and academic competitiveness in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences. Over the past five years, the number of CUPL projects approved by NSSF has increased by leaps and bounds. CUPL has beaten its own records time and time again, moving steadily up in the national ranking, which shows the significant improvement of our faculty’s research capacity and academic impact.
