On August 28 and 29, the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) orientation for 2022 postgraduate students took place at both the Changping Campus and the Haidian Campus.
In the morning of August 29, CUPL Council Chair Hu Ming, President Ma Huaide and heads of administrative offices welcomed 2022 postgraduate freshmen at the Haidian Campus. In 2022, there are 2782 postgraduate freshmen, an increase of 144 over the last year, including 2293 master students, 379 doctoral students and 110 students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan of the PRC and from foreign countries. This year, CUPL welcomes its first 12 postgraduates who are enrolled in B.A. to PhD programs, and 107 postgraduates, in the foreign-related legal talent programs. The newly established Data and Law Institute also recieves its first 24 postgraduates.

CUPL leaders met with teachers, staff and volunteers in charge of orientation, held cordial conversations with new students and took a group photo at the 2022 postgraduate Freshmen Name Wall. Attaching great hopes to the freshmen, Council Chair Hu Ming and President Ma Huaide encouraged them to live up to their youth and embrace the new stage of study with a positive attitude and vitality.
