On May 3, 2017, the eve of the 65th birthday of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the People's Republic of China and Chairman of the Central Military Commission visited CUPL and delivered an important speech on comprehensively governing the country according to law, cultivating legal talents, and morality education.
On the occasion of the 5th anniversary of General Secretary Xi Jinping's visit to CUPL, CUPL held a symposium to study the implementation of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's remarks to CUPL. The meeting, held on May 5, reviewed the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech and encouragement during his inspection of CUPL as well as reviewed and summarized a series of CUPL’s remarkable achievements in all aspects in the past five years.
