The preliminary of the 2022 National Postgraduate Entrance Examination (NPEE) was held on December 25-26. 152 examination rooms (including 24 spare examination rooms) were set up at China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) for 3,552 candidates. There were more than 500 administrators, supervisors, and student volunteers at CUPL's Changping Campus and Haidian Campus.
Before the first test of the 2022 NPEE started on December 25, CUPL Council Chair Hu Ming, President Ma Huaide, Council Deputy Chair and Discipline Inspection Secretary Gang Wenzhe, Vice President Chang Baoguo, Vice President Li Xiuyun, Executive Vice Dean of Graduate School Lu Chunlong, and heads of relevant schools and administrative offices of CUPL inspected the examination sites on the two campuses respectively. Besides, they also inspected through a “remote electronic inspection system”.
Due to COVID-19, the Graduate School organized five rounds of screening before the examination, and contacted over 700 candidates to monitor their special conditions in real time. The logistics department set up a rest area that provided lunch, hot water, and personal protective equipment for the candidates. The examination area was also cleaned and disinfected regularly. The security department strictly managed the order of the examination sites, and over 50 student volunteers worked at the examination sites throughout the whole process.
By now, the preliminary of the 2022 Postgraduate Entrance Examination in CUPL has successfully come to an end. The results of the preliminary examination are expected to be released by mid-February, 2022.
