On December 18, the signing ceremony between the Shenzhen Chaoshan Youth Association (SZCQ) and China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) to co-build an internship and practice center and the unveiling ceremony of the center were held in Shenzhen. The ceremony was attended by Fan Kun, Member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Standing Committee of Shenzhen and Director of Foreign Affairs Committee of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese of the CPPCC of Shenzhen, Zhao Jing, Deputy Director of the Shenzhen Municipal Office of the Greater Bay Area (Municipal Hong Kong and Macao Office), Chen Guoxiong, Chairman of SZCQ, Wu Bangxing, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SZCQ, Chen Jin Tong, Executive Chairman of SZCQ, and Feng Shiyong, Vice President of CUPL.
Feng Shiyong recognized SZCQ's efforts and achievements in preserving and promoting traditional Chaoshan culture, supporting youth entrepreneurship and innovation, and promoting charitable public welfare. Fan Kun said that the center would produce a more innovative and higher quality legal education model, which would better meet the needs of the national program to further advance the rule of law. Chen Guoxiong hoped to take the signing as the starting point to continuously enhance cooperation and strengthen coordination between the two sides, as well as to jointly cultivate young talents for the new era. Wu Bangxing said that after the inauguration, SZCQ would launch meaningful orientation activities with themes such as Innovative Development of Youth in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
After the meeting, CUPL organized a symposium with Shenzhen alumni, in which Feng Shiyong called on the Shenzhen alumni to participate in and support CUPL’s 70th anniversary.
