CUPL Teachers won First and Second Prizes at the Basic Teaching Skills Competition for Young University Teachers in Beijing

The 12th Basic Teaching Skills Competition for Young University Teachers in Beijing was held from May to June 2021. Three CUPL teachers participated in the competition of group A (liberal arts). In the end, Li Huisheng from the School of Criminal Justice won first prize, Qu Gaoxiang from the Guangming School of Journalism and Communication and Ding Ru from the School of International Law won second prize. In addition, Li Huisheng, Qu Gaoxiang, and Ding Ru won the Most Popular Awards, Li also won the best Teaching Plan Award, and Li's instructors Wang Haiyan and Guo Jinxia won the Excellent Instructor Awards. This is the best result for teachers of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) in the Basic Teaching Skills Competition for Young University Teachers in Beijing.

This Competition is held biennially. Following the concept of "delivering an excellent course.", the competition consists of three sessions, i.e. teaching design, display, and reflection. This year's competition was quite fierce. A total of 72 teachers from colleges and universities took part in the group A competition of liberal arts from June 5 to 10.
