On December 9, the 9th “Top Ten National Outstanding Young Jurists” Award Ceremony was held in the Great Hall of the People. Wang Chen, Vice Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee and President of China Law Society, Chen Xunqiu, Council Chair and Executive Vice President of China Law Society, Jing Hanchao, Deputy Secretary General of the Committee of Political and Legislative Affairs of the CPPCC Central Committee and Vice President of China Law Society, Zhang Mingqi, Council Member, Vice President and Secretary General of China Law Society, Zhang Wenxian, Council Member and Director of the Academic Committee, and Council Members and Vice Presidents Wang Qijiang, Zhang Sujun, and Li Rulin, attended the meeting. Chen Xunqiu presided over the meeting. Professor Li Zheng attended the award ceremony and delivered a speech.
At the ceremony, Wang Chen presented the awards and certificates of honor to the top ten National Outstanding Young Jurists, including Wang Qian, Che Hao, Du Huanfang, Li Honglei, Chen Baifeng, Hu Ming, Qin Tianbao, Nie Xin, Li Zheng, and Liang Fengyun. Wang Chen, along with the leaders of the Committee of Political and Legislative Affairs of CPPCC Central Committee and Council Members of China Law Society presented certificates of honor to Yu Tongzhi and other jurists who won the nomination prizes of the 9th “Top Ten National Outstanding Young Jurists”. In the subsequent seminar, Professor Li Zheng of CUPL made a speech as the representative of the award winners of the “Top Ten National Outstanding Young Jurists”.
