On November 7, the Forum on “The Civil Code and Ecological Protection” and the “Awards Ceremony of the Journal of CUPL Dongfang Yi Excellent Dissertation” was held in Beijing. This forum was one of the activities held by the editorial office of the Journal of CUPL to implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialist Rule of Law with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. The ceremony was moderated by Cao Mingde, Chief Editor of the Journal of CUPL. Prof. Shi Jianzhong, Vice President of CUPL, Prof. Li Zheng, Director of the Scientific Research Office, Prof. Meng Qingyu, Vice President of Hebei University, and Dongfang Yi, Chair of Dongfang Yi Group, delivered speeches at the ceremony. More than fifty guests, including editors and writers representatives from universities inside and outside Beijing and from the judiciary attended the forum and held an in-depth discussion.
