On the evening of October 16, 2015, the annual International Graduate Scholarship Fair (IGSF) hosted by China Scholarship Council (CSC) was held at Vision Hotel in Beijing. Vice-President Ma Huaide attended the Fair on behalf of CUPL, accompanied by Prof. Xu Lan, Director of its Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and other related CUPL staff.
Before the start of the Fair, Prof. Ma had talks with Mr. Cao Shihai, Deputy Secretary-General of CSC. Prof. Ma expressed his gratitude for the strong support offered by CSC to CUPL over the years, making the number of our State-Sponsored students who have studied abroad ranked among the top 20 universities and colleges in China. In addition, the two sides also took the chance to exchange in-depth views and opinions on future cooperation.
The guests who participated in this event included decision-makers from a dozen of Chinese universities and colleges, such as CUPL, University of Science &Technology Beijing (USTB) and so on. The attendees also included representatives from 99 universities or educational institutions located in 18 countries, such as the University of Sydney (Australia), Queen’s University (Canada), Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (Germany), University College Dublin (Ireland), University of Cambridge (the UK), Johns Hopkins University (USA), etc.
