On the afternoon of March 19, 2015, President Huang Jin met with Chairman Seon Gil Yang of Korean innerwear company SSANGBANGWOOL, Inc. (SBW,Inc.) and his party.
President Huang extended a warm welcome to Seon Gil Yang and his party, and briefed the guests on basic information of our university. President Huang indicated that China and South Korea have built up a good relationship with mutual trust over the years. China is the ROK’s largest trading partner, and there is great opportunity for increased cooperation between the two countries in the future. President Huang also expressed his wish that the two sides would treat this meeting as a good opportunity to further encourage an internship program for CUPL students working with SBW, Inc.
Seon Gil Yang said it was a great honor for him to have the chance to visit CUPL. He praised our university for its important role in Chinese legal professional training. He also stated that CUPL enjoyed a great reputation in South Korea, as many Korean prosecutors and judges have taken advanced law studies on our campus, evoking a lasting effect in Korean society. Seon Gil Yang also introduced the evolving history of SBW, Inc., and expressed his wish that in the future our students could have the opportunity for internships and even become employees in the company.
