The public appraisal for the 2012 National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation awards was recently concluded. The Operating Environment and Internal Structure of Evidence Law, written by CUPL Dr. Wu Hongqi, received a 2012 National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation award.
It was reported that a total of 90 dissertations covering a wide variety of disciplines were appraised and elected as contest winners. Dr. Wu Hongqi’s dissertation was the sole prize-winning submission in the field of Jurisprudence.
CUPL Prof. Zhang Baosheng is Dr. Wu Hongqi’s tutor. Dr. Shang Huang, also being instructed by Prof. Zhang, was awarded the honorable title of Excellent Doctoral Dissertation by Beijing Municipal Government with his dissertation On Cross-examination.
