CUPL President Huang Jin visited University of Groningen (UG), the Netherlands, from December 4 to 6, 2012. During his visit, President Huang met with UG President Prof. S. Poppema. They discussed exchange and cooperation in fields such as law, economics, management science, political science, sociology, etc. The two sides reached consensus on the exchange of undergraduates, dual degree programs for postgraduates, and the joint-cultivation program for doctoral candidates. They also signed the Intercollegiate Cooperation Agreement.
As a joint-cultivation supervisor, President Huang attended Zhao Ning’s oral defense of his doctoral dissertation, which was held by Huber Private International Law Institute, an affiliate of UG’s School of Law. Soon thereafter, President Huang met with several local CUPL alumni.
