On August 7th, 2012, Professor Rohite Deshpande, the Director of the GloColl project (The Global Colloquium on Participant–Centered Learning Program) at the Harvard Business School, visited the MBA Education Center at CUPL Business School. Professor Rohite Deshpande is an internationally-renowned scholar. This visit is part of an academic and teaching exchange project between the two sides. Professor Sun Xuanzhong, Dean of CUPL Business School and Director of the MBA Education Center, was invited by his American counterpart to attend the GloColl Project from July 25 to 28, just before Professor Deshpande’s visit.
At CUPL, Dean Sun Xuanzhong had a cordial talk with Professor Rohite Deshpande. Their conversation focused on the conceptions of law and business management being implemented in the MBA program at CUPL Business School. Shortly afterwards, they discussion moved towards in-depth exchanges concerning the development and teaching of law and business management cases. After the meeting, Professor Rohite Deshpande and his group visited an MBA classroom and witnessed a demonstration of a case-study lesson as they are conducted at CUPL.
This round of exchange and discussion between the two business schools signifies a fresh new beginning for their mutual cooperation in the future.
